Hey Matt! As long as you are meeting your daily macro and calorie targets, you’re all set. Working at night can make you fat if you snack through it and end up with a calorie surplus. What you can do is shift some cals during the day into the evening, so you’re not starving while at work.

Hey Chris, other calculators use activity multipliers that are way too high, resulting in too big of a surplus and unnecessary fat gain. 2044 calories sounds low for bulking, so make sure you’re inputting your values correctly. Just find your TDEE and increase it by 10% for bulking. You can adjust from there if you’re gaining weight too fast, or not gaining. I hope this helps!

That will give you a good starting point, and if you lose weight too quickly, you can increase the calories from there.
