If your calculated deficit under your BMR, this means you need to increase your activity so that your TDEE also increases. In doing so, your deficit target also rises because it is a percentage of TDEE.
Congrats Martha on starting this. You’ll likely have emotional ups and downs this week. Trust me, stick to this diet, don’t cheat or stray and at the end of the week you’ll be soooo happy you stuck with it (and I can’t stress this enough, don’t look at the scale until the end of the week!
